Bukayo saka new contract and update

🚨Bukayo Saka is set to become the highest paid player at Arsenal and one of the highest paid players in the league after his new long-term contract extension

Arteta on PSG fixture: “My preference is to play the second leg at home. It’s what we have at the moment. Learn from it and see what advantages you can take. If you watch European football yesterday the second leg can be madness. It’s great to learn from these scenarios.”

Arteta on Lewis-Skelly playing midfield against PSG: “It will be down to availability of players in that moment. For how long in games because we have players who can’t play 90 minutes. Once we are closer to the game we can make a decision.”

My opinion on the Partey contract situation is here.

Partey is aging, but still the brain of our midfield.

From purely a football standpoint (am aware of the other stuff going on) , He should be renewed and phased out slowly.

Buy his replacement when he is still there and reduce him to a bit part player. There is a likelihood of his replacement not working out, Partey should be there to guide him or even play the role albeit to a small percentage.

I think the right way to build a team is not to replace a player and then let them leave. Give the new player acclimating time while the player you want to replace is still there and then phase them out slowly until they are not so important anymore.

Partey is very important to this team....Arsenal have to play their cards right, if we fumble his replacement it sets us back for a few years. ideally he stays for a few more years and then we buy his replacement whilst he is still here.

Anyway it is what it is...He is leaving!

JUST IN:

Both Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis Skelly are now in the final stages of agreeing new long term contracts at Arsenal. Andrea Berta is concluding the final details before officially announcing it. Long term deals for both Hale End stars sorted.

Gary Neville: "I don't understand how Arsenal eliminated Real Madrid from the Champions League. It isn't adding up. With the quality of Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo, don't forget Bellingham! It's such a shame."

They (Arsenal) will not go past PSG, their qualities cannot go past the semi-finals. I think Barcelona will meet PSG in the finals."

Another cow 🐮 talking shit focus on your useless club 😤

I don't believe that Arsenal have the ability to beat a team as strong as Real Madrid, that's a shame, and there will be no winner in the
